John Travolta had waitresses "swooning" over him as he dined on lobster at a little-known seafood restaurant near the Norfolk coast. The actor, 68, was joined by daughter Ella and two other men, believed to be colleagues, at the award-winning eatery.
Travolta has been pictured with fans across Norfolk in recent days as he is in the area for a short film called The Shepherd. On Wednesday night he shocked staff at the six-table Old Forge restaurant in Thursford - and was apparently a hit with the waitresses.
Sarah Bowett, who's owned the diner for 26 years, said: "He's still very attractive. A couple of the part time girls were swooning over him. He's got that lovely smile and hasn't lost his charisma."
Wearing blue jeans and a black puffer jacket, Travolta offered up pictures with staff and fellow customers after finishing his meal. The superstar dined on baked crab and a whole lobster while sharing a bottle of house white wine with his group.
Travolta's daughter Ella - a vegan - was apparently pleased with the restaurant's plant-based options as she tucked into avocado to start and a vegetable main course. Sarah, 66, said that she drew the curtains and locked the doors in the restaurant to stop the paparazzi waiting outside from taking pictures of Travolta.
She added: "John was lovely. He was so nice and charming. He asked lots of questions about the local area and the menu. The other customers were pretending he wasn't there but when he offered pictures some of them asked for one."
