JOHN Swinney has hit back at the bosses of a major bus firm, saying that comparing him to a dictator over plans to bring buses back under public control was “more than a bit ludicrous”.
Speaking at the SNP conference in Aberdeen, the First Minister announced that buses would be brought under public control by 2031 through franchising and regulation, with a bill tabled in Holyrood next year.
