John Curtice explains what Holborn by-election result really tells us

THE Green result in Holborn and St Pancras indicates an early General Election would be an "extremely risky project" for Labour, according to top pollster Sir John Curtice.

The polling expert said the by-election result reflected national opinion polls, with Labour enjoying a recovery under Prime Minister Andy Burnham but still falling short of its previous levels of support.
