Eddie Howe once explained that Newcastle United's home games, supercharged by the incredible work of Wor Flags, were a real advertisement for players who might fancy jumping ship for a spell on Tyneside.
"It's a great advert for us," Howe told reporters in April 2022. "Anyone looking at that game and seeing those pictures and seeing the stadium, the feeling, the connection between the players and the supporters and seeing the emotion shown at the end of the game can't help but be inspired by it or motivated to try and experience it."
In the 15 months since that statement, Newcastle have continued to go from strength to strength. Not only do they have the excitement of nights under the St James' Park lights to act as an advert for potential signings, there are also the upcoming Champions League fixtures, an incredible crop of players at Howe's disposal and a vastly improved training ground.
