You saw some tweets from Joel Embiid and thought he was referencing the ongoing trade dialogue between the Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets.
I regret to inform you that, unfortunately, his cryptic tweets actually have nothing to do with any of the trade rumors surrounding Ben Simmons or James Harden.
While I’m sure the big man would love to have Harden on his team, his tweets about a “counter” actually have nothing at all to do with the upcoming NBA trade deadline.
In fact, while I don’t exactly have it on good authority, I’m pretty sure that his tweets are just him workshopping the lyrics to a metal song that he is writing. That sounds strange, but my gut feeling is often correct when it comes to this kind of stuff.
