Joe Wicks slammed for showing off wife Rosie’s toned post-baby body: ‘This could cause nervous breakdowns!’

Joe Wicks has been criticised for sharing images of wife Rosie Jones’s incredibly toned physique just seven months after she gave birth to their third child.

The Body Coach star took to Instagram to show off the former glamour model’s gym-honed body with a series of workout snaps and videos of her working out.

Wicks praised the 32-year-old who welcomed their daughter Leni in September for looking “absolutely phenomenal”.

He explained that his wife was in “the best physical and mental shape of her life” and was “lifting weights heavier than ever”.

He added: “She exercised all the way through her pregnancy with Leni and has really stepped up her training in the last six months to rebuild her strength.

“There is no doubt genetics has an impact and plays a role but I’ve seen her work so hard to rebuild her strength and fitness.”

He continued: “What’s more impressive is Leni has never slept through the night and since four months old continues to wake multiple times through the night.

“She [Rosie] still makes the commitment to a healthy and active lifestyle and when she does train she really pushes herself and I admire her for that. She hates cardio and currently lifts heavy weights three times a week for around 45 mins.”

However, the fitness star’s comments fell flat with fans, including new mothers.

One wrote: “I think this is a post that can cause a lot of women to have nervous breakdowns. Mine never slept and I could not have gone to the gym.

“Rosie has an amazing figure and I’m not denying she doesn’t work hard to maintain it, but for some and most women they don’t look like that before or after pregnancy.

“Some/most women can’t get to a gym, can’t leave children etc... don’t have the finances or motivation due to situations at home.”

Another follower commented: “I think this is amazing, well done Rosie. Just want to say for some mamas that may see this and feel they just can’t... that’s ok!

“It takes time. Especially if you had a birth injury. Having babies takes its toll! It took me over 18 months to feel ready for weights, after birth and physio.”

A third wrote: “She looks amazing! It would be helpful to acknowledge the time, money and resources to be able to do this though. An awful lot of parents are not in the same position.”

The post comes just days after Wick received backlash for sharing a photo of baby Leni dangling from a push up bar at an outdoor gym.

Wicks seemingly doubled down on his decision by posting a similar throwback snap of his children Indie, four, and Marley, three, suspended from the bars with him.
