JOE HART has been given the Celtic No1 shirt for the upcoming season.
The experienced keeper was first-choice for Ange Postecoglou last term but wore the number 15 due to Vasilis Barkas being registered with the No1 shirt.
However, after Barkas left Celtic on loan to join Utrecht, Hart has been given the number one for the upcoming year.
A Celtic update on social media confirmed: "He's our number 1.
"We can confirm today that Joe Hart will be wearing the No. 1 jersey for the coming season.
"Joe, who last season wore the No.15 and had a fantastic season for #CelticFC will wear the new number, with Vasilis Barkas moving on loan to Utrecht."
Hart made 54 appearances for Celtic last season becoming a Premier Sports Cup and Scottish Premiership winner in his first year at the club.
