Joe Biden failed to remember his recent trip to Ireland at a White House event this week.
The US President was speaking at an event in the White House on Thursday. Staff at the White House were invited to bring their children to the residence as part of bring your kids to work day.
Biden addressed the crowds and answered questions from the children about his life and family. However, he was left stumped when an audience member asked him what country he had most recently travelled to.

He said: "I've met with 89 heads of state so far. I'm trying to remember the last place I was, it's hard to keep track."
He resorted to asking the children present if they could remember his last trip abroad. Luckily, an eager child quickly told him that the US President had been in Ireland.
Biden spent five days in Ireland at the beginning of this month as part of an official state visit. He attended a banquet dinner in Dublin Castle and also spent time in Louth and Mayo, as he has ancestral links to both counties.
