Good Morning Britain viewers were quick to point out the wardrobe fail - and now David Walliams is set to revisit Dame Joan Collins' awkward moment on the show six years on.
The funniest programme on ITV, It'll Be Alright on the Night, is back on our screens this Friday night, with comedy host Walliams reminding viewers of some of the most embarrassing television bloopers, gaffes and fluffed cues from everybody's favourite shows.
Tonight's episode includes one iconic clanger from the channel's breakfast show in 2016.
GMB fans will no doubt remember the moment host Susanna Reid was upstaged by guest Joan Collins, who stepped out on set in a near-identical floral dress.

The two stars greeted each other with kisses as the presenters welcomed the Dynasty star to the sofa - but the twinning moment didn't go unnoticed.
While both women seemed to find the clash rather funny, co-host Piers Morgan was quick draw attention to the awkward coincidence and later posted about it on Twitter.
Piers said he found it "hilarious", before sharing a snap of the two on the GMB sofa, dubbing the pair "glamour twins".
Entertainment editor Richard Arnold called it a "frock off", while Joan laughed off the "oops" moment in a Tweet from backstage, saying: "Snap! @susannareid100 and I having a "Krystal and Alexis in the changing room" moment on @GMB. Oops!"
People watching at home were also quick to comment, with one viewer jokingly asking if the pair were "sharing curtains".
Another delighted viewer posted: "What a beautiful pair. What a classy lady Joan Collins is. Take note Madonna."
Others couldn't resist launching into a 'who wore it best?' debate, including one viewer who commented: "Wow! Joan looks younger than Susanna."
Another added: "Did they share curtains?"
More bloopers set to make on appearance on tonight's episode, airing at 9pm, include Bruno Tonioli's cringe-worthy tumble in the Strictly studio and the laugh-out-loud moment a giant tortoise defecated near Dermot O'Leary.
There is also footage of a runaway car as it interrupts a US news report before crashing into a lake.
