During a monologue on the first day of his comeback, Jimmy Kimmel addressed the situation that had led to the cancellation of his show. He also expressed gratitude towards the people who had rallied behind him and supported him during this tough time. Poking fun at his situation, Kimmel remarked that Disney had given him one condition he needs to adhere to remain on air and that he had agreed.
