Comedian and TV personality, Jimmy Carr, has announced a new material show taking place at Swansea Arena on March 31, 2023. It follows his hit Netflix stand-up show 'His Dark Material'.
'Terribly Funny' promises to be "edgy, brutal and it's hilarious - if you share my sense of humour", according to Carr, although it comes with a warning that you'll hear jokes around terrible things.
In fact earlier this year, ahead of a Cardiff date for the show at St David's Hall, Plaid Cymru leader Adam Price said Carr should not be allowed to perform there after he made and failed to apologise for comments about the Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller community. You can read more about that here. There were even protests outside one gig in Cambridge.
