Jim Ross gives Jerry 'The King' Lawler update with WWE icon in 'very serious' condition

Jim Ross has given an update on WWE icon Jerry 'The King' Lawler, after he was rushed to hospital in a 'very serious' condition. A report from Action News 5 claimed that Lawler had suffered a stroke whilst having lunch with friends on Monday.

After being taken into hospital the former fighter and WWE commentator underwent surgery, with WWE journalist Dave Meltzer claiming he is: "awake, but his situation is very serious." An update has since been provided by his legendary co-commentator Ross.

The 71-year-old took to social media to post an update on his colleague's condition, revealing Lawler is week but there are still 'positives'.
