Aberdeen manager Jim Goodwin says rising from tenth to eighth with a win against St Mirren could bag the Dons six figures.
It's been a disastrous season at Pittodrie that's resulted in a bottom six finish.
They've won just one of their post-split matches - a 1-0 win at home to relegated Dundee - and lost by the same margin against St Johnstone on Wednesday.
Goodwin left his weekend opponents in February for the north but it hasn't resulted in an immediate upturn in results.
A summer clear-out will take place and several new faces will be brought in as he moulds Aberdeen in his image.
The 40-year-old says a win over the Buddies in their final match on Sunday could take their prize money up to the tune of £150,000.
It would be a big boost ahead of his rebuild.
The Irishman said: "Of course it's an important game. There's professional pride at stake. There's prize money at stake. It would be great to get £150,000 or whatever those places mean.
"That money would then be used elsewhere. We don't need it to keep the lights on but we want to finish as high up the table as possible.
"I want to bring characters to Aberdeen who are going to help us to bigger things.
"I want fans to be optimistic as what I am about the future. After Sunday we can look forward to a really exciting summer ahead."
