Saints manager Jim Goodwin admits he's "disappointed" their Scottish Cup clash with upset kings Kelty Hearts has been knocked back by the broadcasters.
BBC Scotland and Premier Sports were able to pick four ties to screen live when the fifth round gets underway in just over two weeks' time.
But today it was announced that St Mirren's clash with Kevin Thomson's shock troops, who put current holders St Johnstone out of the competition in the previous round last weekend, didn't make the cut to be shown by either.
Instead the pair have picked both of the Old Firm's ties, as well as Hibs trip to face Arbroath and Dundee's clash with Peterhead at the Balmoor Stadium.
Goodwin insists it's time that more games were shown in Paisley to allow the club to showcase their young talents on screens around the country.
He told Renfrewshire Live Sport: "It is disappointing. I actually thought the previous game we had (against Ayr United) would have been a big spectacle for the cameras, because of the atmosphere that was there on the day.
"We knew that would be generated by the amount of fans we brought down and obviously with it being quite a local game to both teams.
"It's always difficult for us. We don't tend to get many live games here in Paisley unfortunately.
"We do want more because I think it gives us an opportunity to showcase some of the good young players we have in the group."
St Mirren have four Premiership fixtures to squeeze in before that cup tie swings into town, starting with a trip to face struggling Dundee at Dens Park on Saturday.
Having won their last three matches since returning from the winter break, Goodwin admits confidence is high in the camp.
But he insists his players won’t be getting carried away as they look to continue that fine form this weekend.
Goodwin explained: “We said after the Aberdeen game that winning breeds confidence.
"We’ve got a nice little bit of momentum now at the moment with three wins on the spin.
“But I just reminded the boys this morning that the last time we won three on the spin we didn’t win another after that for eleven games.
“We’re not getting carried away. We just need to remember why we’ve had the good results we have.
“It’s been hard work and discipline first and foremost, with some very good goals along the way as well.
“You can see with the results last night, Dundee United had a great win and now they’ve pulled away from us again after we went level with them on Tuesday night.
“There’s going to be a lot of to-ing and fro-ing between now and the end of the season. Last season I probably spoke too much about targets and where we wanted to be.
“I’m not taking away from the fact we still want top six. We want to be in the mix for that.
“But the message to the players after the break was that we need to take it one game at a time. Win, lose or draw, we put it behind us and don’t get carried away.
“Dundee is extremely difficult for us because they’re fighting for their lives. They put a stop to the rot in Perth and beat us here 1-0 last time around.
“We have to be at our best because they’ve got a very good, experienced squad.”
