The Jets made a couple of roster moves Thursday. As expected, the team placed defensive end Vinny Curry (hamstring) on injured reserve. He is out for at least four games.
In a corresponding move, the Jets re-signed linebacker Marcell Harris to the 53-man roster. Harris was among the final cuts as the Jets got down to their initial 53-man roster.
The Jets also added cornerback Craig James to their practice squad, as well as linebacker Chazz Surratt.
James originally signed with the Jets in July but was cut just five days later. James has also spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings in his career.
Surratt is also a former Viking, a third-round pick in 2021. He was among the final cuts for the Vikings this week. Surratt was a quarterback-turned-linebacker while at North Carolina.
