Jessie Buckley made Oscars history as the first ever Irish Best Actress winner.
The 36-year-old took home the award for her portrayal of William Shakespeare’s wife Agnes – historically known as Anne – in the film adaptation of Maggie O’Farrell novel Hamnet, and dedicated her win to the “beautiful chaos of a mother’s heart”.
