It was long overdue. On Sunday, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones announced on FOX Sports that Jimmy Johnson will be going into the team’s Ring of Honor on Dec. 30, 2023.
The Dallas Cowboys will play the Detroit Lions on that date and the entire FOX pregame show panel will be in Texas to watch Johnson as he is honored.

Johnson was 44-36 in 5 seasons as Cowboys coach. He won 7 of 8 playoff games.
He is a 2-time Super Bowl champion and was NFL Coach of the Year in 1990.
