RTE star Jennifer Zamparelli said Irish kids have it easy these days.
Discussing a new report which revealed Ireland is the most lenient parenting nation in Europe, the mother-of-two spoke out about the importance of having rules at home.
The 2FM star said: “There are definite rules in my house – my kids have to make their beds in the morning, they have their household chores.

“They don’t get something for nothing.
“They don’t get treats when it’s not their birthday. I feel it’s my job to do that, to instil discipline.
“I had panic attacks if the phone rang in my house because my dad was so strict. I was like, ‘If that’s a lad, I am so dead’.”
