Jennifer Lopez has gushed over her husband Ben Affleck this week, following remarks about the fellow actor by his ex-girlfriend Gwyneth Paltrow on a podcast recently.
Jennifer, 53, spoke about her husband, 50 - whom she married last year - whilst appearing on The View earlier this week to promote her upcoming Netflix film The Mother.
During the interview, she was asked about father-of-three Ben's parenting abilities, with her commenting on the ABC show: "He's an amazing dad. It brings tears to my eyes."
"He is honestly the best dad I've ever seen. He's so involved. He teaches me about how to kinda interact with the kids sometimes. He's just so in tune," she further stated.
Jennifer continued: "He's just a brilliant guy anyway like he's so learned in many things and you can just tell like when he had his kids he must have read every book and every thing that you could possibly learn about children."
"He applies it and he's present. That's all you can ask for a present, loving dad who cares and who shows up every single day," she concluded about her husband.
She also spoke about Ben - whom she had previously been in a relationship with two decades ago before rekindling their romance in 2021 - whilst on The Today Show.
Jennifer described her husband as a "wonderful" father-figure to her two children Emme and Max, both 15 - who she shares with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, 54.
And when asked if their romance is better a second time around, she said in her response: "As different things happen in your life, you realise what's really important."
Her comments come amid fellow actor Gwyneth having compared Ben and her other ex-partner Brad Pitt, now 59, whilst a guest on the Call Her Daddy podcast recently.
Gwyneth was in a relationship with Brad from 1994 until around 1997, with them even engaged at one point. She subsequently dated Ben from around 1997 until 2000.
During the episode, she was asked who was better in the bedroom, replying: "That is really hard because Brad was like major chemistry love of your life kind of at the time and then Ben was like technically excellent".
Gwyneth was also asked on the podcast to make other comparisons between them, including being questioned about which of the two was a more talented actor.
She responded: "They're both so talented. And Ben is a great writer and director but I guess I would probably have to say acting alone, Brad. Like if you think of all the really different roles he's done. I mean, Ben is great too."
