Jennifer Coolidge makes frank admission about money as she reveals what she spends her fortune on

Jennifer Coolidge 'overpays' for everything

Jennifer Coolidge "overpays" for everything.

The 63-year-old actress had a sporadic run in Hollywood after appearing as Stifler's Mom in 'American Pie' in 1999 and in recent years has enjoyed a massive career resurgence thanks to her Emmy Award-winning role in 'White Lotus' but admitted that she is not particularly shrewd with money and has never been "lucky" enough to find good deals.

She told Us Weekly: "To be honest, I’m not a thrifty person in any way. I mean, I prefer to overpay for everything. … I have these friends who are able to find this great bargain stuff. I’m not lucky that way."

The 'Shotgun Wedding' star - who also appeared in early 2000s hits such as 'Legally Blonde' and 'A Cinderella Story' - has a reported net worth of $6 million but has "no regrets" on the way she spends her money and would rather spend it on treating her friends.

She said: "Taking my friends and my dogs out to dinner. I love to do either one. I have no regrets."

Meanwhile, Jennifer was asked about some "misconceptions" that others have about her and revealed that despite what people may think, she can "run really fast" and she also denied rumours that her house is haunted.

She said: "I can run really fast! People don’t know that! [And] I have this sort of big house in New Orleans and everyone has these stories of these scary things that happened to my house and I haven’t heard these stories. It’s so funny how people have these fake haunted stories about my house. You know, I live in the house [and] I would definitely have seen that little girl with a bouncing ball going down my staircase.”
