Everton have confirmed Jean-Philippe Gbamin has joined Trabzonspor on loan for the rest of the 2022/23 season.
The 26-year-old midfielder signed for the Blues from German side FSV Mainz in the summer of 2019. He has so far made eight appearances for the club and now heads to the Turkish Super Lig for a season-long spell.
Ivory Coast international Gbamin spent the second half of last term on loan with Russian outfit CSKA Moscow, playing 13 matches and scoring twice.

Dele Alli also completed a loan switch to Turkey during this window, joining Besikas until the end of the current campaign.
Earlier today, Everton announced that Niels Nkounkou has moved to Cardiff City on loan for the season.
And last night the permanent signing of Neal Maupay was confirmed, with the forward arriving from Brighton.
Everton have already brought in midfield reinforcement this window with the addition of Amadou Onana, who joined from Lille earlier this month. Speculation persists over further targets in that area.
Talks are believed to be ongoing with PSG to sort a deal for Idrissa Gueye - and he could become the Blues' seventh signing of the summer, following Onana, Conor Coady, James Tarkowski, Ruben Vinagre, Dwight McNeil and Neal Maupay through the door.
