Paramount+ has announced that they have acquired the rights to produce an adventure series titled 'Zorro' (working title), featuring Jean Dujardin, the Academy Award-winning actor known for his role in 'The Artist,' as the legendary character Diego de la Vega. The show, created by Benjamin Charbit and Noé Debré, has generated significant anticipation and has been picked up by Paramount+ for distribution in France, the U.K., Italy, Germany, and Latin America.

The show is set to debut on Paramount+ before being released on France Télévisions.
Set in 1821, the series follows the story of Don Diego de la Vega as he assumes the role of mayor of Los Angeles and confronts a corrupt businessman named Don Emmanuel. The production of the series is being handled by Marc Dujardin's Le Collectif 64 and Julien Seul at Bien Sûr Productions, with the script penned by Charbit, Debré, and Emmanuel Poulain-Arnaud. The direction is in the capable hands of Jean-Baptiste Saurel and Emilie Noblet.
