Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance recently addressed young voters at High Point University, emphasizing the importance of voting for Donald Trump to bring about 'real change,' lower housing costs, and prevent the possibility of World War III.

During a town hall event moderated by Turning Point's Charlie Kirk in High Point, North Carolina, Vance expressed concerns about the potential for a global conflict, stating, 'I think that we are sleepwalking ourselves into World War III.' He highlighted the role of competent leadership in averting such crises, emphasizing the need for smart decision-making at the highest levels of government.

Vance underscored the significance of preventing another world war, particularly for the younger generation who would bear the brunt of any military conflict. He urged the audience to consider the implications of their vote, stating, 'If there is a third world war, it is the people in this room who are going to be drafted and called upon to fight it.'

Furthermore, Vance contrasted Trump's approach to foreign policy with that of Vice President Kamala Harris, alleging that Trump considers the long-term consequences of his actions while Harris does not. He criticized the allocation of US resources to Ukraine at the expense of Taiwan, warning of the potential for China to exploit the situation.

Addressing recent comments made by President Joe Biden, Vance accused the administration of attempting to stifle dissent and silence critics of Harris' policies. He characterized such actions as an affront to the American people's right to express concerns about the country's leadership.

In conclusion, Vance urged young voters to support Trump as a means of effecting tangible change, lowering housing costs, and safeguarding against the specter of a third world war. He framed the upcoming election as a pivotal moment for shaping the future trajectory of the nation's foreign policy and national security.
