Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance recently accused Vice President Kamala Harris of promoting 'anti-Christian and anti-Catholic bigotry' during a campaign event in Wisconsin. Vance, a practicing Catholic, contrasted Harris' alleged stance with what he described as Donald Trump's support for religious freedom in the United States.

On the same day, Vice President Harris visited two churches in Georgia as part of a 'souls to the polls' initiative, emphasizing the significance of voting and sharing personal reflections on her faith. She highlighted the role of church in fostering growth, community, and faith, particularly during challenging times.

Meanwhile, Harris' running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, attended a church service in Michigan where he underscored the influence of their Christian values on the campaign's policy positions. Walz also pointed out a 'distinct difference' between their approach and the policies supported by Republicans.

It is noteworthy that President Joe Biden, a lifelong Catholic, serves alongside Vice President Harris. Biden holds the distinction of being only the second Catholic president in U.S. history, following John F. Kennedy.
