PUNE: Former national coach Jaspal Rana has alleged that he was asked to leave the Karni Singh shooting range by the High Performance Director (HPD) of the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) on Thursday.
Rana, a top former shooter who is pistol shooter Manu Bhaker’s personal coach, said that Pierre Beauchamp asked him to leave the range. “He just wanted to show his authority. I was following the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) but the HPD still came to me and asked me to leave. I have photographs to prove this and even the CCTV footage can be checked,” Jaspal told TOI.
