JasonTheWeen speaks out on cheating allegations after breakup with Sakura

Twitch streamer JasonTheWeen has addressed swirling cheating rumors following his breakup with fellow content creator Sakura Shymko, stressing that their split was amicable and involved no infidelity.

JasonTheWeen confirmed in a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Feb. 9 that he and Sakura had ended their relationship, and requested privacy as they adjust to the change.

“Sakura and I are no longer in a relationship,” the Twitch streaming star wrote. “We have nothing but respect for each other and plan to continue supporting one another moving forward. We both feel incredibly grateful for the time we shared together.”

“We kindly ask for privacy on this matter moving forward. Thank you for understanding,” he added.

In a follow-up livestream shortly after announcing the breakup, Jason directly addressed the rampant cheating speculation online, emphasizing that “no one cheated” in their relationship.

He went on to describe his relationship with Sakura as respectful and grateful, noting that she had been his “biggest fan” and “helped me through a lot of sh*t.”

“We plan on being friends once our feelings are settled and we’ve moved past this breakup,” he said.

Jason also shared that he had spent considerable time contemplating the relationship and ultimately decided that parting ways would allow both of them to grow independently.

The pair’s relationship first gained public attention in mid-2025 when they appeared together at Streamer Prom, sparking fan interest and social media coverage. Like many high-profile creator relationships, their romance became subject to scrutiny, fueled by fan speculation and viral clips.

For several months, Jason and Sakura mostly kept their relationship private, even as fans and fellow streamers became invested. However, their relationship came to a sudden halt in August 2025, with Jason citing the need to step back for the sake of their mental health and personal well-being. The couple reconciled in October 2025, choosing to keep their reunion largely under the radar, until their most recent split.

JasonTheWeen distances Sakura breakup with Kyedae and TenZ split

Jason was quick to distinguish his breakup with Sakura from the recent split of her sister, streamer Kyedae Shymko, and VALORANT star Tyson “TenZ” Ngo. Kyedae and TenZ confirmed their own separation just a few days prior, describing it as a mutual decision after almost seven years years together and urging fans to avoid unfounded rumors or negativity.

“I know it looks crazy on the timeline right now that Kyedae and Tyson just broke up or announced their breakup, and then all of a sudden me and Sakura are announcing our breakup. That sh*t is 100 percent concidence,” Jason said.

Following the announcement, JasonTheWeen shared that he plans to take a short break from streaming to focus on himself and move forward, and told the fans not to worry on his behalf. “Please do not feel insecure for me. I’m a grown-ass man,” he said.

He also revealed that his next live stream will be on Feb. 15, featuring a seven-day survival challenge on an island, with a trailer for the event coming soon.
