Jason and Travis Kelce couldn’t resist poking fun at Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper after Tepper made headlines for throwing a drink at an opposing fan in Week 17.
On a recent episode of the Kelce brothers' New Heights podcast, Jason Kelce likened Tepper to Shooter McGavin from the movie Happy Gilmore, telling Travis “I feel like you can hear him saying, ‘Goddamn it people, go back to your shanties!’”
The Philadelphia Eagles center then tried to explain why throwing a drink is more “disrespectful” than simply punching someone in the face.
“Punching me in the face out of anger is not disrespectful. Throwing a drink on me or spitting on me is disrespectful. Does that make sense?”
Travis Kelce nodded in assent, noting that the act of throwing a drink is intrinsically "snooty."

Tepper has since been fined $300,000 for his reckless behavior, a seemingly lenient punishment that inspired plenty of jokes from NFL fans.
