Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp has made a big claim about Newcastle United forward Miguel Almiron, saying that he must be 'one of the first names' on Eddie Howe's teamsheet for every game. The Paraguayan has been one of the Premier League's top performers this season and is almost certain to win October's Player of the Month award after his seven goals in 13 appearances for the Magpies so far.
After finding the net just four times at most in a Newcastle campaign, Almiron has found six goals in his last six games in an incredible turnaround of form under Howe. Speaking on Sky Sports ahead of the game, Redknapp praised Almiron's season so far, highlighting the change in the Paraguayan's quality under Eddie Howe.
"Well, Miguel Almiron, who would've thought he's playing like he is? He's had six goals in his last six Premier League games, it's been an incredible return.

"When they started bringing in all these new players, I thought he'd be surplus to the requirements. But he's definitely not, he's probably one of the first names on the team sheet right now."
Almiron will hope that he and his teammates can carry on their red hot form through the lengthy break set in just a week's time when the Premier League breaks up for the World Cup in Qatar later this month.
