Jamie Lee Curtis has won the Oscar for best supporting actress Oscar for the superhero comedy Everything Everywhere All at Once at the Academy Awards in Los Angeles.
Curtis plays tax inspector Deirdre Beaubeirdre in Everything Everywhere All at Once, as well as the character’s alternate-universe counterparts. The daughter of actors Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis, this was Jamie Lee Curtis’ first Oscar nomination in a four-decade acting career that includes Halloween, Trading Places, A Fish Called Wanda and True Lies.
