Gavin Bazunu has hailed James McClean as "a true legend of our nation" after the Derry native won his 100th cap in Ireland's 3-0 win over Gibraltar.
McClean captained his country as goals from Mikey Johnston, Evan Ferguson and Adam Idah gave the Boys in Green victory in the Euro 2024 qualifier at the Aviva Stadium and took to social media after the game to reflect on a memorable evening.
He wrote: "How to sum that up.

"No words could describe that feeling so I wont try but what I will say is a massive thank you, to my wife, my family, my friends, my team mates past and present, managers past and present, all the staff, the fans and every single person who helped make this dream a reality.
