James Maxwell has confirmed he has left Rangers.
The young left-back spent last season on loan in the Championship with Ayr United as he gained some valuable first-team experience.
He played 37 times in all competitions and notched six goals.

Rangers previously loaned him out to Queen of the South before his stint at Somerset Park to help aid his development.
The 20-year-old is believed to have interest in securing his services for the new campaign as he took to social media to say his goodbyes to the Light Blues.
He wrote: He said: "Thank you Rangers FC for everything, met friends for life and had many great experiences.
"Excited to see what's up next."
Some of his former Rangers colleagues were quick to wish him all the best in his next adventure.
