Scarlets favourite James Davies has taken on a new role at the region after being forced to retire earlier this year due to concussion.
The flanker's last game as a professional was in the autumn of 2020, when he earned his 11th cap for Wales against Georgia. But an 18-month battle with severe concussion symptoms ensued. Announcing his decision in April, Davies felt he had no option but to walk away after making every effort to continue his career.
"In the end I just knew it wasn't going to work," he said at the time. "It was scary really and showed my vulnerability."
