James Corden admits he was 'ungracious' during New York restaurant incident

James Corden has admitted he had been "ungracious" during an incident at a New York restaurant that saw him banned from the venue.

The Gavin and Stacy star opened up on the incident during the latest episode of his talk show The Late Late Show saying it was "never my intention" to upset staff. He said that in its aftermath he had been "walking around thinking that I haven’t done anything wrong".

Owner of Balthazar in Manhattan, Keith McNally, briefly barred Corden from the venue last week after claiming he had been "extremely nasty" to his staff on two separate occasions. His social media post sparked a wave of calls from the public to ban Corden from other venues.
