Jalisco Prosecutor's Office Says at Least Three More People Were Involved in Killing of Influencer Valeria Márquez

Just a few days after Mexican authorities brought to trial one of the individuals involved in the murder of influencer Valeria Márquez in May 2025, the Jalisco State Prosecutor's Office confirmed that at least two or three other people may have participated in the scheme to kill the popular influencer.

The case was highly popular last year, when Márquez, a 23-year-old influencer, was killed on May 13 while livestreaming on TikTok from her beauty salon in Zapopan, Jalisco.
