Jake Paul sends message to UFC chief Dana White after Anderson Silva win

Jake Paul has told UFC boss Dana White to "suck his d***" after proving him wrong by beating Anderson Silva.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul, 25, extended his unbeaten record to six professional fights by winning a unanimous decision against UFC legend Silva after eight hard-fought rounds on Saturday night. The win was arguably Paul's best performance since making his professional debut two and a half years ago as the judges in Arizona scored the bout 77-74, 78-73 and 78-73 in his favour after the final bell.

The win meant White was forced to eat his words as last year the UFC boss predicted that Paul wouldn't fight Silva. “I f****ng guarantee you this, you ain’t gonna see Jake Paul calling Anderson Silva out,” White said. “That I f****ng promise you. He's Jake's size and he's actually good. But he is old which is what Jake likes, to fight old guys who are too small and that are absolutely positively washed up."

Reflecting on White's comments after his recent win, Paul mocked the UFC boss by stating: “Dana? Dana? Dana? You said I wouldn’t do this, and I did it, with flying colours. He’s in hiding. He’s trying to do everything he can to stop my run, to sabotage my fights. He hates me. He hates what I’m doing. He hates that I’m exposing his business, and now we’re gonna band together and create a united fighters’ association to help UFC fighters, all MMA fighters and boxers to get more fighter pay, long-term health care."

"That’s a big, big undertaking that I’ve been wanting to do for the whole entire time of my career since I met Nakisa [Bidarian]. I said it to him on the first day: I want to make a fighters’ union. So, Dana White can suck this d***." Paul has been challenging White to improve conditions for UFC fighters over the past year whilst White has kept the feud going by criticising the quality of Paul's opponents.

Earlier this year, White admitted that Paul had a "real fight" on his hands in Silva but refused to discuss the fight in more detail. Paul will likely still face criticism from boxing fans after his win over Silva as he is yet to challenge a 'real boxer' having previously fought fellow content creator AnEsonGib, NBA star Nate Robinson and former MMA champion Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren before beating Silva.

Paul said his win against Silva is like something that a movie would be made on, having labelled the UFC legend as one of his idols growing up. "You couldn't have written this in a story, it feels like a movie," he said. "Just being in the ring with him and seeing his heart, courage and bravery, that's the champion that I have looked up to. He is such an inspiration and I had to go in there and match his heart tonight."
