Jake Paul hits out at "shameful" KSI for charging fans to watch him weigh in

Jake Paul has criticised KSI for charging fans to attend the press conference and weigh-in for his fight against Faze Temperrr on Saturday.

KSI faces fellow content creator Faze Temperrr, real name Thomas Oliviera, after the Brit's original opponent Dillon Danis pulled out of their fight on just 10 days' notice. 'The Nightmare' spent three years on the sidelines after his hard-fought win against Logan Paul in 2019, but he returned to the ring last August for a farcical 'two fights in one night event'.

Tickets for the press conference and weigh-ins for KSI's upcoming fight will cost fans £10, plus a £1.13 booking fee. Paul slammed his YouTube rival's decision to charge fans to enter the events, as fight-week events are typically free to attend. "You really are LSI, charging fans to come to a press conference and weigh-in. Shameful," he wrote in a now-deleted tweet.

Paul is expected to fight Tommy Fury next month despite having just signed a deal with MMA league PFL to make his debut in the cage. It's expected that Paul and KSI will eventually fight later this year, with the clash likely being pushed back until December despite Paul's willingness to fight him in the summer.

KSI claimed his American rival wasn't being honest in his efforts to fight him, stating during their recent Twitter space: "You say you are ready but then the negotiations don't say that. You are full of s***." Paul responded by stating: "I agreed to fight you for free and you know that and everyone online knows that on short notice. You had me two weeks for free and you still p***ied out."

Paul had made the offer to fight KSI for free after his opponent Alex Wassabi withdrew from their fight last August. 'The Problem Child' is still willing to come to enemy territory to fight KSI but insists the Brit must accept his proposed offer by next week, or else the fight must take place in America.

"I sent KSI and his team a contract over a month ago. I offered to come to the UK, 185 pounds and 10 rounds. I have been at 8 rounds since [Ben] Askren. He and his team have yet to respond," Paul wrote. The offer was/is to come to the UK in December 2023. If he doesn’t respond next week after his show, then it’s going to have to be in the US. The best part is he tells Ariel Helwani that I’m hiding behind negotiations when in fact he has yet to respond. Hahaha."
