Jake Paul has refused to pay "fraud" Tommy Fury a penny and has stated negotiations will be handled by his rival's promoter Frank Warren.
YouTube star Paul has shared a long-term rivalry with Fury which has stemmed from last December when the pair agreed to meet for the first time, before the Briton was forced to withdraw. The pair then signed contracts to make the fight in August, but the fight was cancelled with Fury unable to enter the US.
In a recent clash, Paul confronted Fury ringside at his exhibition with Rolly Lambert in Dubai last weekend with both men vowing to settle the scores in 2023. 'The Problem Child' has already agreed to a fight in February on home turf for Fury next year due to his US travel ban, and negotiations are currently underway.
Fury hit out at Paul on Twitter in a bid to speed the process up, writing: "Dear @jakepaul I’m glad to see you’ve agreed to the location and time. Now you can tell your team to get round the table and negotiate properly instead of trying to hide behind the old terms/ agreements put in place two years ago. I’m ready and waiting to get this over the line."
Paul then clapped back at Fury, responding: "You and your papa are both frauds. My team and I will never risk a quid on you again. I’m not paying you a pence you dimwit so there’s no old agreement / terms. My team has spoken to the Warrens multiple times this week and the deal is your promoter is paying you. Sign the paperwork."
The pair have been very vocal regarding a potential fight since Paul defeated UFC legend Anderson Silva in October, with both men maintaining their unbeaten professional records. Fury is adamant that he can be the first man to defeat Paul, and will now look to finally settle their differences in the new year.

Paul has been reluctant to hand his long-term foe a fresh opportunity after missing out on two fight attempts previously, but stated that an agreement is in place for February on the side of his rival's promotion. And Fury is extremely confident of picking up the victory and doesn't envisage it going past four rounds.
"I definitely feel like this fight will happen this time. I've said if this fight doesn't happen it'll be through no fault of my own," Fury told TMZ Sports. "I want this fight more than anything because it's a chance for me to put everything that I've been hearing for the past two years to bed. This fight does not go the distance.
'There's no chance in hell because I won't let it go to the distance. I am not gonna get in the ring and look to outpoint Jake Paul. I'm gonna be in that ring looking to take his head off with every punch. I can't see it going past 4 rounds. I can't."
