Jake Paul will hand over the promotional duties for a fight with Tommy Fury to Frank Warren and Queensberry Boxing after two failed attempts to make the bout happen in America.
Paul lost millions on two efforts to fight Fury in the last 12 months, with the Brit pulling out on short notice for both bouts after they were announced. The first time back in December, Fury broke his rib in training and was removed from the bout just two weeks before fight night.
But there was further controversy the second time they agreed to fight; this August at Madison Square Garden. Contract talks were held up until seemingly the eleventh hour, and the fight was announced just six weeks before it was due to take place in one of boxing's most iconic venues.
This time, Fury never even got to finish camp as he was turned away at the airport in London as he prepared to fly to New York for the launch press conference. His travel issue ultimately cost him the fight with Paul, and to this day it still appears that he is unable to travel to America for a reason that has not yet been made clear.
And speaking with Mirror Fighting ahead of his fight with Anderson Silva this weekend, Paul explained that he is now leaving the planning for that fight up to Fury's team. The Brit's side could stage the event in the UK, but are more likely to look to the Middle East, where he boxes on Floyd Mayweather's undercard next month, to finance the bout.
"There's no real game being played," he explained. "I do think he got scared the second time, and maybe he'll get scared again but it is what it is. I just want to make him pay for that and I think where things are going now we've given up on trying to put on an event with him.

"I think his team is doing it now, they're the ones working on it and they're the ones taking all of the risk if Tommy pulls out. So financially I would be protected in that case and I would just love to see this kid who's a delusional pretty boy that talks a lot of s*** asleep on the canvas."
When Paul was forced to cancel his New York outing altogether following Hasim Rahman Jr's removal from the event, he vowed never to give the heavyweight another chance at fighting him. But despite two pull-outs on Fury's end, the social media star is still keen to get in the ring with his rival.
He was unimpressed with Fury's recent announcement that he will fight 5-2 Paul Bamba, who made his professional debut last year. "Personally, for me, it's something that needs to happen," he said of a fight with his rival. "It goes beyond that - he's embarrassing. I don't know what he's doing. He's not going to get better fighting against trash workers and tomato cans."
