Jake Paul could return to making videos on YouTube if he loses his latest boxing fight against UFC veteran Nate Diaz.
Influencer Paul will compete in his latest squared circle outing against Diaz on August 5 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, as he looks to respond to defeat to Tommy Fury. The Problem Child made a huge success of his recent event against the Brit but ultimately came up short in his first test against a professional boxer, losing by split decision.
After his Saudi Arabia exploit, Paul will now return to fighting an opponent from an MMA background in Diaz who is known for his powerful striking in the octagon. A second career defeat would be a devastating blow to Paul's profile in combat sports and could see him frozen out of future fights against professional boxers.
And the 26-year-old has now admitted he may abandon his plans to conquer the sport and focus on his original trade as a content producer. "This one means everything to me and he does not want to lose to the YouTuber," Paul said during a YouTube video previewing his fight with Diaz.
"I am ready to show you guys the changes I have made in my own life. I want to show you guys how to come back from a loss and to beat somebody's a**. With that said, if I lose again it will be back to everyday bro, no I am joking. But I am not going to lose but if I do I will be a YouTuber forever.
"I have a new life, new goals and new priorities and you will see a new and improved version of me on August 5. This next fight the rumours are true it is the legendary Nate Diaz. One of the baddest men on the planet, the beef is there and the s*** talk is there. He is out of the UFC and there is no turning back, this is going to be a war."

Paul has made the majority of his fortune while making YouTube videos and working as a social media producer which saw his profile expand enough to compete in the boxing ring. He has already had some huge nights including two wins over Tyron Woodley, and a loss to Fury.
It was initially expected that Paul would pursue an immediate redemption mission against the ex-Love Island star after declaring that he would activate the rematch clause in their first fight contract. However after months of delay, Paul appears to have moved on and will look to get back into the winning column with a win potentially setting up a meeting against YouTube rival KSI.
