JAIPUR: The Bhopal bench of the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has issued notices to the collector and principal secretary (forests and environment) seeking their replies on a contempt plea which alleged that they did not ensure compliance with the tribunal’s previous order of closing illegal commercial activities at Nahargarh Fort located in Nahargarh Wildlife Sanctuary (NWS).
The contempt was filed by environmentalist Rajendra Tiwari on whose public interest litigation (PIL) a decision was given on October 4, 2021.
