Jaipur girl dies during family trip to Lahaul valley in Himachal Pradesh

JAIPUR: A 24-year-old engineering graduate girl of Sanganer area was killed on Sunday after being trapped in an avalanche for over two hours as a portion of it caved in at Koksar in Himachal Pradesh’s Lahaul valley.

The girl, identified as Akanksha Sharma, lived with her maternal uncle and aunt since her childhood as she had lost both her parents. Though she was bailed out, but she succumbed on the way to the hospital.
