Jaguars vs. Texans: Another Jacksonville LB added to injury report

The Jaguars and Texans each added a starter to their already lengthy Week 4 injury reports on Thursday.

Jacksonville notably practiced without another starting linebacker Thursday, Devin Lloyd, with Foyesade Oluokun already expected to be sidelined for several weeks.

Find Jacksonville and Houston’s latest injury reports below.

* indicates status upgrade from the previous practice

Jacksonville Jaguars

  • RB Tank Bigsby (shoulder) — limited
  • WR Gabe Davis (shoulder) — limited
  • OL Cam Robinson (knee) — limited
  • OL Anton Harrison (knee) — limited
  • CB Jarrian Jones (shoulder) — limited
  • CB Montaric Brown (chest) — limited
  • S Darnell Savage Jr. (quadriceps) — limited
  • TE Evan Engram (hamstring) — did not participate
  • LB Foyesade Oluokun (foot) — did not participate
  • LB Devin Lloyd (knee) — did not participate

Analysis: The only change to Jacksonville’s injury report, Lloyd joined the list as a non-participant Thursday due to a knee injury.

Jacksonville would be without two of its three leading tacklers in Week 4 if both Oluokun (22) and Lloyd (21) can not play. Tied with Lloyd in that category is cornerback Montaric Brown, who was limited for a second consecutive practice.

Houston Texans

  • TE Dalton Schultz (ankle) — full*
  • OL Kenyon Green (illness) — full*
  • OL Jarrett Patterson (calf) — full*
  • WR Nico Collins (hamstring) — limited
  • DT Folorunso Fatukasi (shoulder) — limited*
  • RB Joe Mixon (ankle) — did not participate
  • RB Dameon Pierce (hamstring) — did not participate
  • WR Tank Dell (chest) — did not participate
  • S Jimmie Ward (groin) — did not participate

Analysis: Four Texans were upgraded Thursday, while safety Jimmie Ward was downgraded and star wide receiver Nico Collins was added to the injury report. Collins leads Houston with 338 receiving yards this season and played in Week 3 despite nursing hip and foot injuries during the week.
