It’ll be a game on six days rest for Los Angeles after the team played Sunday against the Denver Broncos, but it’ll be a full seven days for the Jaguars after they won the AFC South title Saturday night.
The Jaguars and Chargers previously met at SoFi Stadium in Week 3 where Jacksonville rolled to a 38-10 blowout win on the road. However, Los Angeles was without wide receiver Keenan Allen and quarterback Justin Herbert was struggling through a rib cartilage fracture.
It’ll be the fifth home playoff game in Jaguars franchise history and the team’s first since a January 2018 win against the Buffalo Bills. The last Saturday postseason game for Jacksonville was a January 2008 loss to the New England Patriots.
