THE UK Government has been accused of “climate vandalism” and committing a “devastating betrayal of our children’s future” by approving the Jackdaw gas field, the Scottish Greens have said.
On Wednesday morning, the UK Government announced it had approved plans to begin drilling in the Jackdaw gas field in the North Sea, with Prime Minister Andy Burnham saying the decision will “protect hundreds of jobs and help keep millions of homes warm”.
