Jack Wilshere has revealed that Bukayo Saka left Cesc Fabregas cracking up after the Arsenal star asked the former skipper for advice on how to improve.
Saka has scored 13 goals and notched 10 assists so far this season, helping the Gunners to charge to the top of the Premier League table. The Englishman has been a revelation since breaking into the first-team under Unai Emery in 2018.
Though he only played the final 30 minutes of the win over Leeds on Saturday, the 21-year-old is set to play a huge role in the title run-in. But according to Wilshere, his status at the club has not gone to his head, as proved by a recent meeting with Fabregas.
Wilshere is now a coach in Arsenal's academy and accompanied Fabregas at London Colney as the Spaniard returned to take his coaching badges. And Wilshere revealed that Saka left the former Gunners captain amused when he asked a question.
"Every time I watch him, he gets better. And the big thing, and this will always be the big thing for me when I watch him, when he first came into the team, the first thing I thought was 'wow this kid makes the right decision every time'," Wilshere told Sky Sports.
"Even if it's a five-yard pass, his understanding of the game and where his team-mates are is the best I've ever seen. And he's 21. He's in the perfect place, Mikel has been unbelievable for him, he's brought him on, developed him.

"He's now starting to be arguably England's most important player. And the best thing about him, he’s the most humble kid you’ll ever meet. He smiles, he asks for opinions, he talks to the young lads.
"Cesc was in doing his badges a few weeks ago and when B [Saka] saw Cesc he was starstruck and said: ‘Cesc is there anything I can do?’ I said ‘B, you’ve just played 68 Premier League games in a row, you’re doing something right, so keep doing that'.
"What a kid. What an icon for the academy, someone who is affecting games, is robust, can handle himself, can handle the media, can go through what he did when he missed the penalty, great role model for them."
Saka was recently named the Premier League's Player of the Month for March, the first time he has won the award. He was crowned having become the first player to reach double figures for goals and assists in the division this term.
The Englishman beat off competition from Leandro Trossard, Alexander Isak, Mohamed Salah, Alexis Mac Allister and Tyrone Mings. It is the second time this term that an Arsenal player has won, with Martin Odegaard scooping the award earlier this season.
Boss Mikel Arteta will hope that Saka will be back to full fitness for Arsenal's trip to Liverpool on Sunday.
