Jack Grealish was left with egg on his face during Manchester City's narrow defeat against Spurs, following an incident involving a ballboy.
The 27-year-old was a particular spark during City's best attempts at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but Pep Guardiola's side couldn't find a vital breakthrough as they slumped to a fourth Premier League defeat of the season.
Grealish's efforts to quickly get City on the move by retrieving the ball that had just gone out of play were scuppered on 85 minutes. The Spurs ballboy was seemingly having none of it, throwing the ball in the home team's direction instead of Grealish's, much to the City star's dismay.

Receiving jeers from large proportions of Tottenham fans, it was Grealish himself was the City player that looked the most dangerous, drawing defender Christian Romero into a foul. The Argentinian was soon dismissed following his second yellow card moments later.
Some fans took to social media insisting that football's hierarchy must do more to stop such tomfoolery, with the antics seen in North London often part and parcel of the modern game. Eden Hazard was famously sent off back in 2013 for kicking a ball boy as he attempted to delay Chelsea's restart against Swansea City.
Grealish is often the target for many supporters given his flashy skills and trickery on the pitch and is often the face of much-greeted boos whenever the Blues feature away from home. The former Aston Villa man was also punched to the ground by a Birmingham City fan back in 2019 during a clash between the two at St Andrew's.
