Jack Fincham has vowed to return to reality TV if he is unable to beat Anthony Taylor on his professional boxing debut.
Fincham rose to fame after winning TV dating series Love Island alongside ex-partner Dani Dyer, and has built a sizeable social media following since leaving the villa. Despite being known for his stint in the limelight, Fincham has an extensive background in amateur boxing and previously signed a promotional deal with BOXXER.
Fincham will finally get the chance to showcase his skills in the squared circle when he takes on YouTube star Jake Paul's sparring partner Taylor. The fight will be a huge platform for Fincham given it will take place on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather's exhibition with Deji on November 13 at the Coca Cola Arena.
Although it is his first outing in the professional ranks, Fincham has set high expectations for himself and believes he took the toughest available option for his maiden test. "I am absolutely buzzing to get out to Dubai and make my boxing debut," he said ahead of his debut.
"I have been at this sport for a long long time. There were so many easier fights out there for me and I could have taken them, but life is about testing yourself and I wanted to test myself and show you guys what I can do. I have been in this sport for a long time and I want to showcase that.

“An opportunity to fight in Dubai against Anthony Taylor I am not going to turn that down. But I’ll be honest if I can’t beat Anthony Taylor, I will probably pack it in and I will see what reality TV series will have me. I am looking forward to it though, this isn’t a show to miss. The training is going well and the weight is coming off so I am ready to go."
Fincham had around 27 fights out of the Finchley ABC gym as an amateur and has worked with the likes of Tyson Fury's former coach Ben Davison. His opponent is known for his skills in MMA, but has recently been plying his trade in the boxing ring taking on the likes of Tommy Fury and most recently defeating Anthony from X-Factor winners Rak-Su.
