Ja’Marr Chase jokes about Chiefs, being ‘under somebody’s skin’

It has been a strange offseason for banter between the Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs.

Better than no banter, of course, as the Chiefs-Bengals rivalry has quickly become one of the NFL’s best.

Still, Bengals wideout Ja’Marr Chase threw another little nod at the whole ordeal recently during an interview with Kay Adams.

“I’m excited for it. I can’t wait for it,” Chase told Kay Adams the “Up & Adams” show. “I don’t want to say too much because we already had Mr. Kelce come back with something, so I must be under somebody’s skin.”

Chase is referencing the big spat that went down earlier this summer when he jokingly threw out a “Pat Who?” while declaring Burrow the best quarterback in the NFL. Patrick Mahomes actually responded to that, then Travis Kelce sort of came out of nowhere and threw his weight around, too.

So, this is just Chase having a little fun with the whole thing. Fans will have to wait and see if this prompts yet another reply.

An offer for Bengals fans
