Honey G has issued an emotional message after her mentor died following a battle with bowel cancer.
The comedy rapper's real name is Anna Georgette Gilford and she shot to fame on series 13 of X Factor back in 2016. She has taken to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute to an agent who supported her at the beginning of her career.
Paul Fitzgerald worked at renowned talent agency, Creative Artist Agency, and the X Factor star took to Instagram to honour his memory. She said: "I actually asked him very recently if I could publicly honour his legacy, so I wanted to pay a tribute to him in this video.

"I was shocked and saddened when I found out recently his cancer was terminal. So Paul, I hope you are resting peacefully now. Sending lots of love to your family and your loved ones and you will be missed.
“And I just wanted to say thank you for everything that you did for me."
Honey G shared the clip with her 90.1K followers, alongside the caption: "I would like to pay tribute to Paul Fitzgerald who was a music agent at @creativeartistagency who helped me at the very start of my career.
"He has sadly lost a battle with bowel cancer. REST IN POWER PAUL and thank you for everything you did for me."
