ITV viewers think Gordon Ramsay 'narrated' Prince Harry's audiobook after Tom Bradby's interview

Many people tuned in to ITV last night to watch Prince Harry's exclusive interview with Tom Bradby and the content of the chat was not all that got viewers talking...

Harry took part in the interview with Tom to discuss some of the most important lines from his new book Spare, which is out tomorrow (Tuesday), however some parts of it were leaked after it accidentally went on sale in Spain last week.

During the 90-minute ITV programme, parts of Harry's audiobook were read out and many viewers took to Twitter to say the recordings sounded incredibly familiar.

Many said that they would swear that it was Scots celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay reading out excerpts of Harry's new book.

One Twitter user wrote: "If you close your eyes Prince Harry sounds like Gordon Ramsay."

And Scots TV presenter Lorraine Kelly re-tweeted the comment and wrote: "A LITTLE bit! I thought it was Chef Ramsay."

One said: "Yessss I thought same..without the effing."

Radio presenter Garry Spence also wrote: "Did Gordon Ramsay do the audiobook for Prince Harry? Or have I just never noticed how alike they sound?"

Another added: "Completely agree. Why is @GordonRamsay narrating Prince Harry’s book #HarryTheInterview."

While one wrote: "It's hard to tell if it's #PrinceHarry or @GordonRamsay narrating that book."

Harry’s tell-all tales in his book include recounting how he took cocaine and magic mushrooms and lost his virginity to an older woman in a field behind a busy pub.

Harry also revealed how he felt “slightly isolated” and different from his family in his younger years following the death of his mother, but shared joyful times with his great-grandmother the Queen Mother.

Speaking about Charles and William, Harry said: “I love my father. I love my brother. I love my family. I will always do.

“Nothing of what I’ve done in this book or otherwise has ever been any intention to harm them or hurt them.

"The truth is something that I need to rely on, and after many, many years of lies being told about me and my family, there comes a point where, you know, again, going back to the relationship between certain members of the family and the tabloid press, those certain members have decided to get in the bed with the devil, right, to rehabilitate their image.”
